Many coaches focus on that last sentence about putting on your own mask (self-care) before helping others. While that is a very important lesson, I want to focus on the sentence before that: "although the bag will not inflate, oxygen is flowing to the mask." That requires a great deal of trust!
In order to believe that you will receive oxygen, you need to trust the process! You need to trust that although you do not see immediate results (the bag does not inflate) you will get the desired outcome (oxygen). The same can be said for your business. You may not see immediate results of your efforts, but if you have a trusted process (system) in place, you will get the outcomes you desire!
For example, perhaps you have developed a process for posting to social media three times a day as part of your marketing efforts. After your very first post, you shouldn't expect clients to flock to your door, but those regular postings of useful content is helping to establish you an an expert. Over time, when someone is looking for someone who does what you do, you are more likely to come to mind. You need to trust the process!
What are some examples of the processes and systems in your business that you are implementing now, which will lead to desired outcomes later? Share in the comments.
